The Iron Patriot or Detroit Steel Will Be In ‘Iron Man 3’
Looks like The Superficial scooped everyone with their paparazzi style photos from the set of ‘Iron Man 3’ in Wilmington, NC. They scored photos of a someone wearing a suit of armor that looks very similar to The Iron Patriot and Detroit Steel.
I highly doubt this is actually Iron Patriot (the suit of armor worn by Norman Osborn while he head the villainous Dark Avengers). I suspect that ‘Iron Man 3’ will include current elements of Matt Fraction’s Iron Man comic story-arc and will include Detroit Steel. Marvel doesn’t have the film rights to Norman Osborn, and it would make a lot more sense for this to be a movie version of Detroit Steel and not Iron Patriot.
In the comics, Detroit Steel was the first of Steelcorps: armor that Hammer Industries sold to anyone with the money to pay for it.‘Iron Man 2′ ended with Hammer Industries having secured of the Iron Man tech to make an army drones, and this is why I suspect we will see a movie version of Detroit Steel in ‘Iron Man 3’, most likely with ties to The Mandarin. As gaudy as the paint scheme is of Detroit Steel and The Iron Patriot I kind of love it for it’s complete ridiculousness.

Three New Character Posters For ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Quickly following the reveal of the so-so final poster for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that looks rather uninspired and photoshopped, Warner Bros. has released a slew of new character posters for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. The new posters feature the film’s main three characters and have a much more engaging design than the final poster.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ hits theaters on July 20th, this Summer.
